Risks of fake nephrite jade.

Many dealers and suppliers tend to call any green or white looking stone or any translucent stone "jade", when in fact it may simply be onyx, serpentine, 2 varieties of marble stone or other varieties of marble stone.

Before purchasing a yoni egg, make sure of its genuineness, as if the yoni eggs are fake or fraudulent jade eggs, they can cause problems such as urinary tract infections and other complications.

There are only 2 types of true (real) jade: nephrite and jadeite. All other so-called "jades" are jade simulants, imitation jades or fake jade.

How to identify fake jade eggs:

Just because a supplier provides you with green or white looking stone eggs and calls them "jade" does not make the eggs real nephrite jade eggs.

Most "jade eggs or jade wands" are fake jade or made from translucent marble stones.

Onyx, serpentine and other translucent green or white marble stones are often used as simulators of nephrite, and these are all called "jade", but in reality these stones are marble.

Before buying jade eggs or jade wands ask the following questions:

The specific gravity, Mohs hardness and refractive index of genuine nephrite stone are 2.8 - 3.1, 6.0-7.0 and 1.606 - 1.632, respectively.
